I took these at "The Return to Space" mission of the Space Shuttle Discovery STS-121, July 4th, 2006. It was one of the more spectacular experiences of my career. You are so close that you actually feel the launch as much as see it. The people in the photos are the news crew covering the event at one of those rare moments were we actual get to view the event instead of just work it. Start at the bottom and work your way up. They will be more or less in sequence. Sorry, it just formatted that way.
They are in honor of Discovery's last mission.
