Today's MOZEN: Love Never Dies

Words and photo by F LoBuono
Whenever I write about a special person in my life who has passed, I never use the past tense, LOVED, in describing my feelings for them. I always use the verb in its present tense, i.e. LOVE. Because love never dies. It is a form of energy and, therefore, cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only change form as stated in the First Law of Thermodynamics:
Law of Conservation of Energy
The first law of thermodynamics, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy, states that energy can neither be created nor destroyedenergy can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. For example, turning on a light would seem to produce energy; however, it is electrical energy that is converted.
So it is with love.
When we love deeply and without reservation we have created a level of energy that pervades not only our own lives but those of everyone around us. Therefore, even in death, it cannot be destroyed or even lost. It only changes from one form to another.
Unfortunately, are unaware minds often fail to see this truth. We lock in into the idea of what WAS instead of what IS. Therefore, we miss out on continuing our love for that person that still exists in a form that, in many ways, can be more powerful than it ever was.
We just have to believe . . .
